This is to inform all candidates that participated in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for May/June conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) that the results have been released.
The result is out and the official WAEC Result checking portal is now enabled. www.waecdirect.org is the official link to check your WASSCE Result. But you can also check your results via SMS immediately after taking your WASSCE examination. Kindly follow the procedures outlined below to check your SSCE result.
How to Check WAEC Result Via SMS
To check your WAEC results via SMS, simply follow the procedures below (Note: You must have a credit balance of at least N30 on your line).
- Send SMS in the format below:
WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
To short-code 32327 (MTN, Celtel & Glo subscribers) - For example -:
WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2007
Note:
Ensure you adhere strictly to the format above. There should be no space in the message. - Wait for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS. (SMS Cost N30 Only)

How to Check WAEC Result Online
To check your result online, simply follow the steps outline below. If you don’t have an e-PIN Voucher to check your result, kindly purchase it before proceeding to check your results.
- Visit the official WAEC result checking portal at www.waecdirect.org
- Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
- Select your Examination Year i.e. 2024.
- Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
- Enter the Card Serial Number.
- Enter the Card PIN.
- Finally, click the “Submit” button to see your results.
